We had the pleasure of visiting Saturna Island, one of the jewels of the Salish Sea, this past August. We stayed in one of the oldest homes on the island, dating back to about 1880, and has now been transformed into a B&B called the Breezy Bay, named after the working farm where it's located. Each day when we made our way back to the B&B we enjoyed this beautiful of view of the farm as we approached and I knew I was going to have to paint it. On entering the property, we would drive by the red farm house and then would very slowly maneuver between the cows who liked to gather on the driveway each day around 5pm. It's amazing how big cows are when they're up close and personal!
