Here is a new small painting that is part of my Glass Series. I love painting the effect of glass, as there are so many abstract elements arising from the shape or texture in the glass. In this painting I layered the glass and lemons until I found just the right amount of distortion to make the image interesting but still recognizable. Another interesting aspect of painting glass is the number of colours found within. It's always a fun and challenging subject to paint.
